Twentieth European Dynamics Days

        Provisional Program

      General information


    Registration will be on Sunday evening (19.00-21.00) and on Monday and Tuesday mornings (8.30-11.30). If you arrive during office hours (9:00-17:00) other than these times, please go to room 20AA21 on campus and register there.

    Invited lectures are allocated 40 minutes plus 5 minutes question time.

    Contributed talks are allocated 15 minutes plus 5 minutes question time.

    Posters There will be poster sessions on Monday 20:00-21:00 and Tuesday 17:15-18:15. Posters for the first session can be set up on the boards in room AP4 from 9:00 on Monday and should be removed by 9:00 on Tuesday morning. Posters for the second session can be set up from 9:00 on Tuesday and should be removed by 9:00 on Wednesday morning. The poster boards measure 6 feet wide by 4 feet high (2m by 1.3m approx) and fixings will be provided.

    Bars Roots bar on campus (below Seasons Restaurant) serves meals and a variety of drinks. It will be open at lunch time and in the evenings until 23:00 every day of the conference except on Tuesday evening when it will be open until 24:00.

    Room keys can be obtained from Twyford, Cathedral and University Court receptions on arrival. Your room can be occupied from 14:00 on the day of your arrival and should be vacated by 9:30 on the day of your departure.

    Computers There are telephone connections in each bedroom on campus that allow you to connect a portable computer via modem to the internet. These require a special card that can be purchased from the Conference Office on campus. We hope to arrange telnet access via certain university machines.

    Before/after conference Note that the accommodation charge only covers bed and breakfast before and after the conference. There are however several places on Campus or in Guildford where one can eat.
